About the OfflinAI Comply scanner
Our scanner checks public web pages for accessibility problems against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
How to recognise it
Its browser identifies itself with OfflinAIComply in the user-agent, followed by a link to this
page.
What it does
- It loads only pages that anyone can open, the way a visitor's browser does.
- It loads at most one page every two seconds from a site, and usually only a few pages.
- It never submits forms, signs in or buys anything. It may press a cookie banner's "reject" button to see the page behind it.
- Unless the site's owner has asked us to test the site, it follows
robots.txt.
How to opt out
Add these lines to your site's robots.txt:
User-agent: OfflinAIComply
Disallow: /Or email us and we will add your domain to our do-not-scan list.
